A day in the life of a Deer

WALT: Write in first person

I woke up tired. As a looked I looked around I saw hunters chasing deer. It always makes me upset but I knew I should stay out of it so I would not get into trouble. I had my head down, slowly walking across the ground. I also saw to male deer fighting over a beautiful female deer. I decided to meet some of the others in our family. I said hello the the Elk, Moose and the Reindeer. I kept walking about. I was surprised when I saw a male deer without any antlers! But I knew that male deer grew new antlers every year so I was not afraid. I looked up. The sun shone brightly into my eyes. I was happy I had long legs or It would be very hard to walk in the mud I was in. I decided that I should start heading home.

Comix

We have been learning about how to make a good blog comment. We used Comix to show how to make a good blog comment.

I learned that we should always try and put kind comments on peoples blogs because it makes them feel good. When we do a negative comment on someone's blog post it makes them feel sad. 

Duffy Day at NBC

I am a fox from a book called Fox Craft.  I am with Eva because in her book she had a pet fox too. I chose this character because I thought it would be a great character to add more to it. I am excited because I get to hangout with my friends and get 2 Duffy books.

The little bear

I am Ellie. I am 7. I am a soft, silky honey bear. I usually wear a small T- Shirt that is light purple and has pastel yellow dots. I also wear pants that have small little rips in them. I am not that normal at all. I'm as small as a chair. I am so small my house door is a bunny hole! In my house I have a chair as small as a computer and a TV as small as a twinkling star. Every time I try to go to a performance it is so hard to even see what they are doing! I usually stay at my small little house

One morning, I sit in my chair and watch the Bear News. Today it says ELLIE’S GONE MISSING! I don’t mind though because i feel so small that I don’t even need to go outside. I only go outside to find flowers, grass and little twigs for my house. All this beautiful scenery is in my cozy house. When I am outside I also make sure that I am not seen because I don’t like being seen. When I am seen it's like I have stage fright.

One day I heard that the king knew where I was and he was planning to kick me out. I had 1 day to prepare before he would come to my house. It has been 3 hours since I started to prepare. My only idea was get some big green leaves and scrunch them up into a ball so I could juggle.

After 5 more hours I had thought of  another thing I could do. I could go get twigs and leaves and make a little dress and DANCE!

Two hours later I had thought of my last idea. It was to be nicer and maybe even give some things that I love so much away to people who are less fortunate. 

The next day I did all of this. The king liked it but then I did one more thing. A thing that made me know that I am stronger than I thought. I said this; “No matter how big or small people are you have to treat people with respect and treat others the way you want to be treated”.

The king respected this. Five days later the kingdom was the kindest and only kingdom there was. 

After a couple of absolutely astonishing days the king was outstandingly nice and showed me a house  that was perfect for me. 

In a week I was so popular. I had a bunch of friends and I got a lot of gifts from people and others saying thank you for making the kingdom a better place. I was also very happy with what I had created. The best thing was that I never got bullied again. This was my favourite part because when you get bullied it feels like you don’t have any friends. I am so excited to see what will happen next.
