                                      But if you are a pet owner, you know that they can misbehave.

                                        This book is full of hilarious stories of silly animals, for example....

There was a dog who brought a sprinkler in the house and it was spraying water everywhere!     

 There was once a goat that somehow got to a store and stole candy!

Two donkeys happened to do something so wrong that they both wound up in jail!

A cow got stuck in between two, big, fat, trees.       

A small little dog literally, somehow sunk their owners car!

An old masterpiece recreated

In Cybersmart today we did a Summer Learning Journey activity. We had to go onto a website and colour in a masterpiece. It was a very fun activity.

A Sish is a funny character. Its fur/skin is an indescribable texture. The Hybrid animals tail sways when it gets excited. Its fur is very dirty. It uses its 2 legs to drag its tail along. It can't run very well since it has to drag his tail everywhere. The tail is very slimy. It has dull grey eyes and it struggles to see at night. It is a creature that you would usually see because they are slow. Other people call it a Shish. There are lots of different names for this Hybrid animal, but the most common name is a Sish. 

They use their legs to stomp on their prey. If they get attacked, they lift up their tail to smack the predator. They get knocked out for a good hour. Sish has very good eyesight. For example, if you were at the beach and you could see a boat out at sea, a Sish can see exactly what's on the boat and how much people there are.

My report writing on Mountain Lions

 A Mountain lion is a animal that are found in steep, rocky canyons. You can find Mountain lions in South America, Canada and the U.S but is very hard to spot them. 

Mountain lions live in United States. Mountain lions have big front teeth that are so yellow it is the first thing you spot when they open their big jaw. When they prowl they have a huge lump behind them. The leg goes into a position which forces one of the shoulder bones up into the air. This causes a lump. It is very handy to scare predators away. They have big yellow eyes with big pitch black pupils. Their jaw has a big, bright white patch with lots of fur sticking out of it. The white blends into a beige colour and the beige colour turns out to be the colour of a whole Mountain lion. 

Mountain lions are usually very shy. They are only really active at dusk, dawn and night time. People don't usually see them unless they are up to seeking at night. They are very stealthy. You would think that they get a lot of food. You are right! They usually hide behind long, dry pointy grass. When they pounce, they bite straight into the spinal cord. It causes weakness in their prey and their muscles stop working. Then the Mountain lion can eat their prey. If necessary, they would eat small bugs or small portions of food. 

Mountain lions are also called Cougars, pumas and panthers. They are North America's largest animal. They weigh 200 pounds. A Mountain lion is large American wild cat with a plain tawny to greyish coat, found from Canada to Patagonia. It is unlikely and difficult to see or to find a Mountain lion. In these times, people still do not know if they hunt in packs or alone. Mountain lions are so solitary that people don't know enough facts for a whole story!

To conclude, I think Mountain lions are animals that want to protect their habitat and family members for as long as they can. 

Room 4 Reading (Wombat Stew)

 In Room 4, Sharon has been teaching us Cybersmart every Wednesday. 

We are learning about Screencastify. THis is my first time having a go at it.

Report about Friday

 On November the 6th, Room 4 and Room 1 went on a field trip. My room, (Room 4/Year 4) went to Margaret Mahy Playground to get into our groups for the trip, eat morning tea and have a play. Margaret Mahy had a big, towering, shining silver slide with enormous green hills which had small little chameleons that you hold onto while you use all your might to get up to the slide. There was a ginormous net that you can see right as you enter the playground, but it is covered by a wood platform that had a big slide that had a faded green colour all over it and unnecessary graffiti on one side of it. 

The slide is all twirly and it is pitch black when you go down. There is only light when you reach the very end. After everyone  finished playing all of us headed off to Turanga, the library in town. It was so big that it looked like it was heading up to the clouds! When we entered we were greeted by a staff member that welcomed us in. All the adults headed upstairs so we followed. There, we saw a whole pit of different coloured lego. It looked as though all the lego had been dumped in. 

There was a small slit in the wall that everyone went in. There were big containers that were shaped like lego and they were all different colours. There were roughly 5 or 6 tables. All the year fours choose a table to work at. There was a staff member that told us what we were going to do. Our challenge was to build a native bird out of lego. I built a Kiwi. After that we had free time and I did lots of things including;

My favourite part was the couches/beds. They were pillows that were foldable. You could lay down on them or you could fold them into a couch. I made a bed out of it. I just layed there, staring out the window behind me

Once our time had gone up playing at the library,  we walked to the museum. When we entered the museum there was a cave that was a golden beige colour. It looked like it had never been polished once! There was a guy that told us to put our bags in little compartments. After that we sat down as the guy told us what we would be doing. It started to get a bit loud so he took us to another place which wasn't so loud. He told us that we would be playing some games that the Māori played. The reason why we were doing this was because games were not invented in their times. Māori had to use things they could find outside to try to entertain themselves. 

After that, the guy said that he would take us to his classroom. In his classroom it had TV's that Māori used and lots of other things they used. There were also games that Ancient Egyptians made. There were games like snakes and ladders there too. Those games are very old. After the lesson we got picked up on the bus and picked Room 1 up. It was such a fun day. 

A moment in time at the swimming pool

WALT: Use punctuation correctly and write in first person. 

I arrived at the swimming pool with my bag that had my togs inside. I sprinted into the building, with my family trailing behind me. As mum paid at the counter I waited next to her. I wailed in excitement. I went to the changing rooms and got into my togs and ran to the pools. 

I jumped in and swam all the way to the Lazy River. The Lazy River dragged me in. I quickly hopped on to a inflatable doughnut. I was so relived! In the Lazy River people were swarming to get to the middle. I was shivering with fear because it goes pretty fast. I decided to follow everyone so I would feel safe. 

After a while I used all my might to get out of the Lazy River. I swam over to the bucket  that spills water over your head. I saw the bucket. Slowly but surely it was tipping towards me. y hair was absolutely soaked once it spilt. I decided to head home. It was such a fun packed activity.

A day in the life of a Deer

WALT: Write in first person

I woke up tired. As a looked I looked around I saw hunters chasing deer. It always makes me upset but I knew I should stay out of it so I would not get into trouble. I had my head down, slowly walking across the ground. I also saw to male deer fighting over a beautiful female deer. I decided to meet some of the others in our family. I said hello the the Elk, Moose and the Reindeer. I kept walking about. I was surprised when I saw a male deer without any antlers! But I knew that male deer grew new antlers every year so I was not afraid. I looked up. The sun shone brightly into my eyes. I was happy I had long legs or It would be very hard to walk in the mud I was in. I decided that I should start heading home.

Comix

We have been learning about how to make a good blog comment. We used Comix to show how to make a good blog comment.

I learned that we should always try and put kind comments on peoples blogs because it makes them feel good. When we do a negative comment on someone's blog post it makes them feel sad. 

Duffy Day at NBC

I am a fox from a book called Fox Craft.  I am with Eva because in her book she had a pet fox too. I chose this character because I thought it would be a great character to add more to it. I am excited because I get to hangout with my friends and get 2 Duffy books.

The little bear

I am Ellie. I am 7. I am a soft, silky honey bear. I usually wear a small T- Shirt that is light purple and has pastel yellow dots. I also wear pants that have small little rips in them. I am not that normal at all. I'm as small as a chair. I am so small my house door is a bunny hole! In my house I have a chair as small as a computer and a TV as small as a twinkling star. Every time I try to go to a performance it is so hard to even see what they are doing! I usually stay at my small little house

One morning, I sit in my chair and watch the Bear News. Today it says ELLIE’S GONE MISSING! I don’t mind though because i feel so small that I don’t even need to go outside. I only go outside to find flowers, grass and little twigs for my house. All this beautiful scenery is in my cozy house. When I am outside I also make sure that I am not seen because I don’t like being seen. When I am seen it's like I have stage fright.

One day I heard that the king knew where I was and he was planning to kick me out. I had 1 day to prepare before he would come to my house. It has been 3 hours since I started to prepare. My only idea was get some big green leaves and scrunch them up into a ball so I could juggle.

After 5 more hours I had thought of  another thing I could do. I could go get twigs and leaves and make a little dress and DANCE!

Two hours later I had thought of my last idea. It was to be nicer and maybe even give some things that I love so much away to people who are less fortunate. 

The next day I did all of this. The king liked it but then I did one more thing. A thing that made me know that I am stronger than I thought. I said this; “No matter how big or small people are you have to treat people with respect and treat others the way you want to be treated”.

The king respected this. Five days later the kingdom was the kindest and only kingdom there was. 

After a couple of absolutely astonishing days the king was outstandingly nice and showed me a house  that was perfect for me. 

In a week I was so popular. I had a bunch of friends and I got a lot of gifts from people and others saying thank you for making the kingdom a better place. I was also very happy with what I had created. The best thing was that I never got bullied again. This was my favourite part because when you get bullied it feels like you don’t have any friends. I am so excited to see what will happen next.

  Narrative Writing

Once upon a time there was a baby honey bear. Her name was Lily. Lily´s fur was a colour of light honey so she wasn't really normal. Lily had a traumatising life. Everyone stood away from her and nobody liked her at all, AT ALL! Lily was homeless and no one ever met her or donated to her so Lily was very sad. A year passed and Lily was struggling to get food and water. She was very bony and could barely move! Lily was sure it was the end. A couple minutes later a brown bear walked up to her and said ¨Hi my name is Nick. Even though I am a brown bear I want to help.¨ Lily was petrified. A brown bear, Wanting to help HER?! It was a big risk to take if she accepted it...

She accepted it so with all the strength she had left, she stood up and slowly walked behind Nick. Once they got to Nick's house, Nick fed her some food. Then Nick said ¨I have to go somewhere, stay here on the couch¨ But when Nick left the room Lily followed him. She was shocked when she heard that he was planning to make her do 5 years of work! Lily walked to the front door. She turned the gold door knob and it was locked! She heard Nick running to the room she was in so she hopped on the couch and she pretended to be very weak. Nick said ¨Did someone try to hurt you because I heard the door knob turn?¨ Lily said ¨No, no I do not know what happened but can I please go outside for some fresh air?¨ Nick said ¨Of course!¨ Lily ran outside and escaped. She was so relieved. But then Nick started chasing after her when she got out of his property. realised that she was in a dream as you woke up in her beautiful bed.

No Glitter For Kids >:(

I strongly think that kids should not be able to buy glitter. It makes a lot of mess, it can get stuck on the carpet and glitter can end up in the sea, fish can mistake it as food.

 Firstly, It can make a mess. If you want to open a bottle of glitter, DON’T. If you do it, it will explode everywhere! Also glitter is hard to get out of stuff. Glitter is annoying too. It is messy, makes a lot of mess and is just too messy. Glitter is not fun to play with if you just got a new carpet.

 Secondly, Glitter is something that can stick to the carpet. It can mess up the carpet. After that you are going to have to replace it if you want a clean carpet. Replacing it costs a lot of money so glitter is horrible.

 Lastly, Glitter can end up in the ocean and can kill fishes because fishes can mistake it as food for them. It can hurt the fishes or even worse even kill them. Fishes can find a bit of glitter, think its food and die D:

To sum up, children should not buy glitter because it makes a mess, can get stuck on the carpet and kill fish.

My School Holidays

                My School Holidays

In my school holidays I had a play date with Charlie and Quinn. On Quinn's play date we went to his house and we had cupcakes, played on the trampoline and a Toy Fight with his giant elephant. On 😜Charlie's play date we had cookies, played on the play station, took Charlie's toy dogs for a walk and we did the limbo. Also I stayed home and played on my tablet and watched You Tube on my Chromebook. Me and Summer (My Sister) LOVE to watch You Tube on the t.v to. WE went to the movies and watched Trolls World Tour. After that me and Summer went to get new clothes. We got a bunch of socks and I got overalls that (I think) look good on me. These school holidays were one of the best school holidays ever!

Members should not be a thing in Prodigy

         Members Should Be Deleted In Prodigy

I strongly believe members should be deleted in prodigy.When you are not a member, you get member things but you cant wear them. It costs money to be a member and only your parents can pay for that. You can evolve your pets if you are a member. 

Firstly, say you completed a really hard quest in prodigy and all you get is member clothes,shoes or hats. You would be frustrated. It always happens to me. i hate it when it does. 

Secondly, It costs money to be a member and my parents always so NO to the money stuff.Membership should change. (exp) If you turn level 100 you can be a member. I wish my parents said yes. 

Finally you can evolve your pets... ONLY IF YOU ARE A MEMBER! For me, the only time I find evolved pets is when I reach a high level or the odd time i find fully evolved pets. 

To sum up i wish members were not a thing. I believe other people would agree with me. There is a lot of stuff you can earn/do as a member.

Shrek Character Description

W.A.L.T Write A Character Description

Shrek is a green ogre that loves to play in gooey mud. He gets annoyed with many people. He looks like a swampy monster that emerged from slime. His eyebrows are as bushy as an old rug. He is a very annoyed grump ogre. His clothes are as dirty as a dumpster. Shrek is like a s´more because he looks mean and scary on the outside but soft and gooey on the inside. He is a kind of ogre because he does not really like people but he does. I like Shrek because I think other ogre´s would not like him because he is mean and kind. He is nice to Donkey and his family because he likes them but mean to everyone else for no reason! My favourite Shrek movie is number 1 because he finds his love and Donkey. Shrek is also one of my favourite characters because he is very nice and he really good heart and he's really good at everyone to be just be nice and calm down but sometimes he is really and I mean really rude. Sometimes horse Shrek always like he was like really mean people think he's me some countries really nice and I don't think he really deserve to be treated I just feel so sad how how Fiona thought he was a bad ogre. Shrek is pretty to. He's also pretty cool like I just said.

Oinkito lived in a big royal castle with all you would ever want. Her talent is getting anything she wants (So mostly anything) One day, When she was playing with her pet cow... I like Scrat because he has a good sense of humour.

Captain UnderPants is a mean Princable. He go hypnotised by these boys. They were as cheeky as a monkey. Water makes him snap out of the hypnotising state! Then he turns back to a mean Princable. But the boys had the power. All they had to do was snap their fingers... And then he turns back to Captain UnderPants. His underpants are as white as a little baby tooth. His cape is as red as warm,hot lava cake. His head looks like a giant hard boiled egg.His tummy is as plump as a big fat elephant. His teeth are a square as spongebob.

The Anything Everything Shop

W.A.L.T  Write a quality blog post.

King Portly woke up and looked out of his window. He found aliens outside on his front garden, They were also squashing his royal flowers. These aliens were slurps ,Slurps are one of the most worst and unkind aliens on EARTH! Then this weird anything everything shop appeared from out of nowhere.
The weird alien that ran the shop was purple with 3! big green noses. The slurp king was asked to a challenge to ask for some weird and random stuff. If the shopkeeper had all he asked for he would go away.

He agreed and... The shopkeeper won. All the slurps went away, The King hosted a party and asked for some stuff, The shopkeeper ran to the shop and changed the sign to The Nearly Anything Almost Everything Shop.

I liked how creative and fun this story was I do recommend this to all ages.

HI guys so today I will b telling you guys about my sloth themed things.

My Beanie Boos (part 2)

Hi guys so today I will be telling you about my favourite Beanie Boo. My favourite is Dangler. This is what he looks like.

He is really cute and if you saw the previous one it shows Dangler´s twin. He is my favourite because he´s a sloth and i really like those animals. He´s also very fluffy and i really like his pose and his fur colour. I love the face because of the little dark ovals around his amazing big cute orange eyes.

And that´s why he is my favourite Beanie Boo!

Animal Jam!!!

Hi guys so in this Lockdown I have been playing this game called Animal Jam. Its a game where you can chat with friends and hang out. I have been playing for a while now and have tons of pets. I am willing to trade pet for pet or just maybe for a Paintseed Tree or 2 potions from the Phantom Dimension. I really like the game and it is very good quality. I do rate this game 10 out of 10.

I recommend this game this game to people who like animals and actually any people you can buy animals to and my favourite you can buy is probably the Red Panda. More about the game is that you can buy stuff for your den and personalise your den to. You can also buy clothes so you can make your animal look whatever you want.

Parents in Lockdown.

Parents are getting lets say a bit more strict.

And they WANT you to do MORE school work!!!!

Resting is so hard for me. Mum is always wnting me to do school work.

Even though tey are a bit more strict still love them

Now we are at home with our strict parents........ I dont like it though at all.

A little rock

Hi guys so today I was looking around my room and i find a little rock. Its very cute and it has a little starfish on it. I will show you what is looks like below.

I got it at a little market that was held last year. So i did it when we did a second look around it. I found it and i got it. They were 1 or 2 dollars. Summer had no money left and I think I had 5 or 6. So I brought one for her. I do not know where it is so sadly i cant show you it. But anyway i think i choose the right choice of my stone. Hi guys so we all have been going a bit crazy during lock down. For me its the same,my family has gone a bit crazy to. Soon i found a app called Messenger Kids. Its a app where you can friend your friends and chat with them and do much much more. I have been using this app for about 2 weeks now and its really cool and fun. Mc Donalds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI guys so I got Mc Donalds about 1 week ago. It all started b y Me,Mum and Summer my sister were in the car. Mum had to go shopping pick up something from her friends and pick something else up. First Mum went to a alcahol shop and she got some cans of adult drink,then we were going to pick some clothes up from Mums friend. On the way there we went past Mc Donalds,there was cones everywhere and Mum was like whats going on.

She followed the cones and just then i realized that we were in the line for.... MC DONALDS. Me and Summer was so excited to be having Mc Donalds. Mum ordered 2 happy meals with FANTA and a simple cheeseburger for herself. After that we parked up in a park and started eating. Then once Mum finished her burger Mum went to go shopping.


It was soooooooooooooo YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Glourious Horse Going To The Beach

One day there was a gorgeous horse. She loved to go to the beach. When she woke up one day her coat was still her ginger fur but it was perfectly brushed and her mane and tail, it was chocolate brown, like usual but both of them were one in a plat and had bows. She thought that she must got to the beach. She wanted to run in the wind and have her fur, mane and tail get all messy and just the way she liked it.

She ran as fast as she could all the way to the sandy beach. At the beach it was nice and windy just the way she liked it. She RAN RAN RAN all the way to the end of the beach. It was wonderful and her hair and fur was all messy and tangled. But she loved it the way it was. She had a wonderful day and went back to her home.

The day before ANZAC Day

Hi guys so today i am going to be sharing what i did the night before ANZAC Day.

The Night Before ANZAC  Day

The night before ANZAC Day was so fun. It was very fun because we got Dads cannon that he made and got 2 fireworks. We did that because we were going to the beach at NIGHT!    It was so fun walking to the beach at night. Me and Summer was being a bit silly when we were walking to the beach.

Once we got to the beach we checked if the wind was going sideways and it was so then Dad set the cannon near the sea. He put one of the fireworks in the cannon aimed it and then tried to light it. Once he light it and it it sparkled he backed away but me and Summer were already backed away.

It shot out of the cannon and exploded and sparkled it did 5 or 6 booms and same with the 2nd firework and every boom and explosion was always a diiferent color. After we did it we went home.


IT WAAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summers Cool Toy

How to make Apple Crumble

You will need🍲🍲🍲🍲🍲🍲🍲🥫🥫🥫🥫🥫🥫🥫🥫🥫🥫

1/2 Cup of flour

1/2-3/4 Cup of rolled oats

3/4 Cup of white or brown sugar

1 tsp of cinnamon

75g cold butter, cubed

4 apples

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                                                Instructions

Put the first 5 ingredients in a food processor. 

Process until butter is evenly mixed. (Or combine ingredients with fingers)

Finely slice the apples.

Mix a 1/4 of the crumble mixture with the apple.

Spread in to a greased baking dish and top with remaining mixture.

Bake at 200 C for about 30 minutes until lightly browned.

Thats how to make apple crumble.

THEN EAT IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Emilees Abandond Fairy World

One day a girl called Emilee woke up on a unusual beach. It was a unusual beach because the sand was a baby blue and the sea was a Dark purple. There was trees but not usual trees the leaves on the trees were a light yellow. But then Emilee saw a little thing on one of the trees. It was red,light pink, Dark purple and blue. Though Emilee thought it was a mini door she thought she was just dreaming.

Then she looked even closer and it was a tiny door! So then she did the most lightest knock in the world! And then a little door opened and what looked like fairy came out. Emilee came closer so she could hear what now she decided was a fairy because it was!

The Fairy said ¨ Excuse me but why have you knocked on my door¨ Emilee told her how she found her door and woke up on the mysterious beach. She actually understood and talked a bit more. After about 1 hour they stopped talking and said their goodbyes. Emilee went on her way and wanted to find a house. Emilee just thought, she was so tired... DONK She fell on the floor and went to sleep.

When she woke up she found herself in the most comfiest bed in the world. It looked as it was made of clouds and amazing soft swan feathers. It was the most beautiful purple in the UNIVURSE. She was also in a lovely rainbow colored house she had ever seen. It had a deep blue door and a cute little rainbow on the top. She realazied the fairy must of done it.

It had been the most wonderful day EVER!!

Feeding the swans with Dad and Summer

Hi guys yesterday i went to the river near Keys Road With my Dad and my sis Summer. Me and Summer Scootered to the river very fast and Dad was slowly trailing behind us and soon looked like a tiny person.

Once we reached the rocky path along the river we gave Dad our scooters and then Me and Summer ran as fast as a cheetah to the river and started throwing stones. But no ducks or swans came. Dad said to go to the bridge so we did because there was ducks and swans were there.

Dad was carrying bread to feed the ducks and swans. But halfway there we stopped because the ducks were coming toward us. So we got our bread out and then that atracted more swans and ducks. And before you could blink about 27 or less ducks and swans were there.

Soon only i had bread left because the Daddy Swan was coming once he got there with all the other ducks and swans i started throwing bred aiming at the Daddy Swan.

After i finished and all the bread We left and went home.
